Owner of this interesting large photovoltaic standalone plant located in Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City (the Philippines) is Cagayan Electric Power & Light Co., Inc. - CEPALCO. CEPALCO Inc. is an Investor-owned electric utility company serving the city of Cagayan de Oro and nearby municipalities in Misamis Oriental, the Philippines. Construction was started in august 2003 and in april 2004 the plant was completed. Contractor was Sumitomo Corporation, Japan. The plant was financially supported/implemented by Global Environment Facility (GEF)/International Finance Corporation (IFC). Plant is connected to 13,8 kV public grid and it operates in conjunction with the 7 MW hydro power plant.
